We’re excited to share some wonderful news — Levi (age 9) has been selected as our edZOOcrew Kid Conservationist of the Month!
Our team was truly inspired by Levi’s conservation story and the kindness, creativity, and care he shows for animals and nature. From the moment we reviewed his submission, it was clear that his efforts reflect exactly what edZOOcrew is all about: young people taking meaningful, thoughtful action to help wildlife and habitats.

Celebrating a Young Wildlife Guardian
Each month, edZOOcrew highlights one child who is making a real-world impact through conservation action, creativity, or leadership. Levi stood out for the incredible way he combines art, education, and advocacy to help protect wolves.
Inspired by a visit to the Endangered Wolf Center, Levi developed a deep passion for wolves and their role in healthy ecosystems. Since then, he has taken every opportunity to educate others about these amazing animals — busting common misconceptions, sharing why wolves matter, and encouraging others to get involved in conservation.
Wolves have become a central theme in Levi’s life and creative work. They’ve inspired his Halloween costume, the designs on his pinewood derby car and dinghy derby boat for his Trail Life USA troop, and even the topic of his persuasive speech for his NCFCA speech and debate club.
Levi also started a small business selling his artwork, with wolves featured prominently in his logo, and donates a portion of his earnings to wolf conservation efforts. Through creativity and action, Levi is showing that conservation can take many forms — and that passion can turn into real impact at any age.

In His Own Words
When asked why protecting animals and nature is important to him, Levi shared:
“I love the natural beauty. Animals are important for stabilizing ecosystems and environments. And people need nature for oxygen and food.”
Simple words with powerful meaning — and a reminder that the future of conservation is in thoughtful, capable hands.
As part of Levi’s edZOOcrew recognition, edZOOcation is proud to donate $100 in his name to support Ethiopian wolves through the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Program, helping protect one of the rarest canids in the world.
Thank You to the Families Behind the Mission
We’re incredibly grateful to the families and caregivers who nurture curiosity, compassion, and care for the natural world. Supporting a young conservationist takes time, patience, and heart — and it truly shows.
Please join us in celebrating Levi and his inspiring conservation journey. We can’t wait to see how he continues to make a difference for wolves, wildlife, and the planet.
